[postlink]http://skgp89-94.blogspot.com/2009/01/150000-orang-akan-diberhentikan-kerja.html[/postlink]Peh!... whatta scary statement.. if that is the case and if it is real.. what you expect will be happened soon? My analysis as follows:-
1. As most of the affected workers are from manufacturing industries, these 150,000 poor peoples will end-up with "don't-know what to do" syndrome. Why? there is no other skill been developed for them especially those in production department, except for support service department such as Account, HR etc.. maybe little bit hope getting job with other companies.
2. You may see lot of new Nasi Lemak and Goreng Pisang stalls besides the road.
3. You may find lot of new small contractors in the fields. Price war!
4. Social problem may increase... family issues/conflicts, crime rate hikes etc.
5. Rumah/Kereta untuk dijual - become a common ads, perhaps cover 50% of the ads column in local news paper.
You may add some more...
